Description

NOS-IN-1 is a potent and orally active NO synthase (NOS) isoforms inhibitor with IC50s of 0.1 μM, 1.1 μM, and 0.2 μM for human iNOS (hiNOS), heNOS and hnNOS, respectively.

Biological activity

In Vivo Following oral administration, NOS-IN-1 (compound 3; 10 mg/kg) decreases serum nitrite/nitrate levels in an in vivo rat endotoxin assay.
