AZD2389 is a potent and orally active FAP inhibitor. AZD2389 can be used for the study of metabolic dysfunction-associated steatohepatitis .
Biological activity
In Vivo AZD2389 (29 week) increases intact α2-antiplasmin and improvements in non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD) activity score and histological fibrosis in cynomolgus monkeys with diet induced, biopsy confirmed metabolic dysfunction-associated steatohepatitis (MASH) (F1/2 fibrosis).
